Utah Aging Guide ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent senior care resourceoperating at utahagingguide.com. We help Utah families understand their care options and connect them with trusted local providers. We are not a care agency and do not provide care directly.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you fill out a form on our site:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Zip code
• The type of care you are looking for
• Optional notes, including answers from our Care Finder Quiz if you complete it

We also collect information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through the analytics tools described below.

How we use your information

• To connect you with a care provider who matches your needs
• To send you a confirmation email after you submit a form
• To follow up with you about your care inquiry
• To improve our site and understand how visitors use it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.

Text message communications

When you submit a care inquiry form on this site, you consent to receive calls, emails, and text messages from FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan regarding your inquiry. This consent is not a condition of receiving any services.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the care partner handling your inquiry, as described below.

Who we share your information with

When you submit a care inquiry form, your information is shared with our care partner relevant to your request so they can follow up with you directly. Our current in-home care partner is FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan. We will tell you at the point of submission which partner will receive your information.

We use the following third-party services to operate our site:

• Airtable - stores lead submissions. Data is held in our private Airtable base and is not shared with other Airtable users.
• Resend - sends confirmation emails after form submissions.
• Google Analytics (GA4) - tracks site usage and user behavior anonymously. Google may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
• Vercel Analytics - privacy-friendly traffic analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
• Crisp - live chat and messaging. If you use the chat widget, your messages and any contact information you provide are stored by Crisp.
• Google Ads - we run paid advertising on Google. If you click one of our ads and submit a lead form, Google may share your submission data with us via webhook.
• Vercel - our hosting provider. Requests to our site pass through Vercel infrastructure.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies through Google Analytics and Google Ads. These help us understand how visitors use the site and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or track users across sites.

Data retention

Lead submissions are stored in Airtable for as long as needed to fulfill your request and maintain our business records. If you would like your information removed, contact us at contact@utahagingguide.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, email us at contact@utahagingguide.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our site is intended for adults seeking care information for themselves or family members. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
